Are you a master-mingler and a super schmoozer or do you dread networking events, avoiding them wherever possible, like the plague?
After the restrictions of lockdown and the anti-social nature of Covid-19, it’s not surprising to find that many are resisting a return to business networking. Reinforced by the distance-by-digital experience of working from home, restricting meet-ups to the chat column of the webinar may seem like the perfect antidote to all that trepidation that used to exist as you pocketed a pack of business cards and crossed the threshold of the venue.

But in adopting all things digital, including that QR code for our LinkedIn profile in place of swapping business cards with our phone numbers and email addresses, are we in danger of forgetting the crucially important human side of interaction in building connections to support our career or business?
